Credit goes to ProWrestling.net WWE officially released Rey Mysterio from his contract today and moved him to the alumni section on the company website. This move has been in the works for several months. Mysterio wanted out of his deal, but WWE rolled over some of the time he missed due to injury to extend his contract.
