As expected, the New Orleans Saints have activated second-year running back Chris Ivory from the physically unable to perform list, Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune reports. Reserve tight end Tory Humphrey has been placed on waivers. Signed as an undrafted free agent out of Tiffin University, Ivory led the Saints with 716 yards and 5 touchdowns rushing in 2010 before being placed on injured reserve with a foot injury in January. The Saints' backfield will be without 2011 first-round pick Mark Ingram, who has been ruled out for Sunday's game with the St. Louis Rams with a bruised heel. Ingram leads the team with 329 yards and five touchdowns this season. Source: Mac's Football Blog
