The problem with Solder is that potential isn't enough to draft in the first round, but a team will reach. I wouldn't mind finding out more about Skelton.

  4. Agreed I think a team will reach. Solder to me is such a tough guy to figure out. Some plays he looks like a top 10 pick and others he shows terrible technique and doesn't look good at all. I think with the help of a great O.line coach he can become a great player.

    Skelton:

He showed great concentration in catching the ball and really has fantastic hands. He has rare speed for the position and even played in the slot some at Fordham. He even gives pretty good effort as a blocker. He isn't the sharpest route runner yet but I think he can definitely develop in that regard.

i disagree on jalil brown the guy is an animal in the run game watch the oklahoma game on youtube they say the screen is basically a running play and he gets off blocks better then most prospects in the draft he is very good in run defense and a sure tackler

  6. I don't disagree. The problem is doing it consistently. Some plays (Like the screen) he gets off really well and shuts it down and others he gets blocked and run back 5 yards and misses tackles. I'm very high on Brown's potential though.

thats every CB though Brown is one of the top Run defense CBs in this draft. He looks like Nate Clements in the run game and hes one of the best in the league at stopping the run.

  8. I'll take your word for it.

I think a guy that's better in the run is Prince Amukamara.

  9. Litez0ut

    Litez0ut Litez0ut Sucka

Seeing Vincent Brown live and during the senior bowl. You can see some of his explosion out of his cuts. He caught everything his way. He showed enough speed to get separation from the coverage. He has good body control and knows how to position himself to make sure he is going to get some YAC.

  10. I agree. I like him. I like possession WR's alot more than most people.

J.J. Watt has that high motor thing going. id say olb for a 3-4

i agree he can play 3-4 OLB but it depends what he weighs at the combine if he comes in at 270 then he will be drafted 3-4 OLB if he comes in around 285 then he will be a 3-4 end and if he goes to the right team he can be very good as a 3-4 end. To me if he trys to cut weight and be a 3-4 OLB i need to see him in LB drills at the combine because him in coverage sounds like a bad idea but again the combine will show a lot

I'd like player comparisons on the scouting, my only request.

  14. Litez0ut

    Litez0ut Litez0ut Sucka

He would have to cut about 20-25 lbs to be a reasonable size as a OLB. He wouldn't be effective as an OLB. I feel there is no way in hell he could do it. He is better suited for the DE position in either 3-4 or 4-3 schemes.

  15. doesn't have even close to enough speed imho. I can't imagine him in coverage and he doesn't change directions fast enough.

  16. Litez0ut

    Litez0ut Litez0ut Sucka

Agreed, he isn't the kind of athlete someone like Julius Peppers is.

  17. cover the spread

very interested in Martez Wilson. He was a DE coming out of HS and some scouts have suggested he could play OLB in the 3-4 as well as ILB.

I'm also intrigued by Quan Sturdivant who seems to be under the radar by a lot of people. i don't consider ILB an immediate need for New England, but if he's somehow available in the 3rd I would have no problem with them drafting him.

  19. I really don't think Wilson is strong enough to play ILB in the 3-4 scheme.

didn't know he was a DE in HS. it's interesting that he only had 9 sacks in 4 years.

  20. cover the spread

    cover the spread beastin'

According to scout.com he was the #2 DE coming out of HS. He has respectable size for the 3-4, but the questions about his strength and ability to hold up at the POA could limit him to the 4-3. Lot of unknowns, but definitely has an interesting skillset
