Russell Okung, Seattle's starting left tackle, was officially ruled out of the Seahawks' game this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) because of a toe injury.Okung, voted a Pro Bowl starter after last season, is seeking a second opinion on the injury, Todd Dybas of the Tacoma Tribune reports.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll did not commit on the severity of Okung's injury or even his whereabouts.

"Let me tell you this, he's in the country," Carroll said.

Carroll says they are working quickly for an answer on Okung, and does not want to speculate on a timeline until they have more information.

"Let's wait until everybody zeros in and the doctors are all figured out on the right thing to do," Carroll said. "He had to travel to get his next opinion. So we will just wait."
