The Seahawks announced that they have reached an agreement with linebacker Leroy Hill on a one-year contract. Hill, 29, appeared in all 16 games last season for the first time in his seven NFL season, finishing with 89 total tackles, which was three off his career-high mark. Seattle's plans at linebacker were one of the big unanswered questions this offseason. The team let middle linebacker David Hawthorne leave as a free agent, signing veteran Barrett Ruud after Hawthorne didn't accept the team's offer. Seattle also announced it had agreed to terms with Matt McCoy, a special-teams standout who was also playing a role as a nickel linebacker last year before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
