Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Doug Baldwin has been named the NFC's Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday. In the first quarter of the Seahawks' 30-13 win over the St. Louis Rams on Monday night, the undrafted Baldwin had a 37-yard kick return on a reverse on the opening kick, downed a punt inside the opponents' 10-yard line and blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown. Baldwin, who leads the Seahawks with 45 receptions for 718 yards and is tied for the team lead with three receiving touchdowns, added seven receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown on offense. Baldwin is the first Seahawks player to win NFC Special Teams Player of the Week this season.
