Personally I don't think it would have made a difference. While the defense is good enough the offense wasn't. He may have won a couple more games but that would have been about it. No quarterback to run his offense.
All Holmgren did was add to the clusterfreak that was/is the Cleveland Browns. Seems like they are in a better place, heading in a better direction without him. He wasn't that great a coach either...not enough to make that team better. Brett Favre made him in Green Bay and he's lived off that...
Unless he has complete control on personal hiring too, than I say NO to him coaching. That would not be worth the headache to me.
