A shake of the head and a one word confirmation, "true," was all that Steve Michaels needed to do to express his feelings about NFL TV personality and former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Sunday Night Football broadcaster Al Michaels was asked by a caller if he considered Esiason one of the biggest "jerks" he has worked with on air. Michaels' son, Steve, who was also in studio quickly shook his head and followed up the question with the word, true. Al Michaels declined to make a comment only stating that he had Esiason early in his broadcasting career and that he tried to help Esiason along. Michaels doesn't know or understand why Esiason "blasts" him in public from time to time. "I don't get it," expressed Michaels.
