August 15, 2010 - Staples Center - Los Angeles, California Sheamus (c) vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship John Cena, Edge, John Morrison, R-Truth, The Great Khali, Chris Jericho and Bret Hart vs. Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver in a 7-on-7 elimination tag team match Kane (c) vs. Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship
Those who watch WWE Raw on Monday nights, know that there's a storyline going about a new mystery GM on RAW, but he/she hasn't been revealed yet. I bet it will be during this PPV. Also, there's some speculation going on about one of the WWE wrestlers changing face during this PPV. Maybe Cena. Maybe Hart. Any thoughts?
I would be shocked if cena turned heel but that would be really cool cause where do you really go with him now? Keep fueding for the wwe title? As for the GM i think its probably gonna be a major let down i want someone big like stone cold or rock. Its not out of the question they would have to wrestle. Since bret hart came back i dont count out anyone ever returning.
Updated Card: Elimination Tag Team Match: John Cena, Bret Hart, R-Truth, The Great Khali and John Morrison vs. Wade Barrett, Skip Sheffield, Michael Tarver, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Darren Young and David Otunga WWE Championship Match: Sheamus (c) vs. Randy Orton World Heavyweight Championship Match: Kane (c) vs. Rey Mysterio WWE Divas Championship Match: Alicia Fox (c) vs. Melina 3-on-1 Handicap Match: Big Show vs. CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury
trips isnt returning, hes pretty injured i dont hink anone turns they cant justify any of it, its just IWC speculation
WWE always change their storylines just to prove the IWC wrong. Hell, they signed up Bryan Danielson, Low Ki and now Tyler Black just to job them and piss off Indy fans. If only the writers spent more time on actually puting together a decent show.
its not cena its not hart its not hhh its just the continuted push of 6 HORRIBLE wrestlers and one good wrestler
While I'm not excited about the SS card, at least it's better than the TNA PPV they had last Sunday, called Hardcore Justice. When I went to the HJ Web site, I saw they only had 2 matches that were confirmed. What kind of card is that?
Barrett could be a great Main Event Heel and Gabriel is a good spot monkey. To be honest, Nexus' push is directionless. No member is getting the focus.
there in lies the problem. The 'E' can put them in a singles match because their weaknesses would be so blatant. this continued 8 on one attacking is boring already
Barrett is the only one that's had a match IIRC (Although I haven't seen it). Obviously Danielson went very early in the angle, but it's obvious that it's had a profound effect in the booking of the stable. And yes, it has become very boring.
barretts match agaisnt mark henry was sloopy but ive read that his work in FCW is good so who really knows
I have a feeling Brett Hart is going to do some kind of Hogan heel turn tonight. I'm not watching it so I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
Wow, that PPV was just downright crapty. WWE is getting worse and worse. The ONLY redeeming aspect of the show was Brian Danielson returning.....but I am sure the WWE will do something to kill any momentum they can have with that storyline. Yay.....John Cena beat all the odds and won again....whoopie. Now the Nexus is relegated to a bunch of chumps....ugh...
