After releasing defensive tackle Frank McCargo, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed eighth-year defensive tackle Gary Gibson. Gibson spent the past three years with the St. Louis Rams after barely earning any playing time with the Carolina Panthers in his first four years in the NFL. Last year was his most productive season, as the 6'3", 312 lbs. tackle notched the first three sacks of his career. He was originally an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers, where he played under current Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano in college. Source: BucsNation.com
