Texans outside linebacker Brooks Reed limped off with a knee bruise after colliding with tight end Owen Daniels during the morning workout and returned for the afternoon practice with his knee in a sleeve. But head coach Gary Kubiak said he didn’t think the problem was serious. Inside linebacker Brian Cushing has become “for the most part a full participant,†Kubiak said. “But we’ll keep him out of some of contact stuff.†Cushing was lost for the season last fall when he tore an ACL in the fifth game.
