Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who stood out in the team's preseason opener, was sent to the locker room for evaluation for a potential head injury in the second quarter of Saturday's preseason contest against the Dolphins.

Hopkins was targeted three times and finished with two catches for 22 yards before the injury. He suffered the injury after his second reception and will likely be tested for a possible concussion.

The rookie out of Clemson has six catches for 74 yards and one touchdown through two preseason games. His status remains uncertain for the team's third preseason game against the Saints on Aug. 25.
