I say it is it for him. It sucks cause he had just got his batting average up from strugglin' earlier on in the season. This blows nuts. But i think conrad/infante can step in and do good for us. Hope Chipper just stays a leader from the bench.

 

i have hated chipper jones more then any other opposing player ever. that's saying something considering some of the great players that have opposed the phillies. bonds is right up there as well but my he's not worthy of the kind of respect i have for chipper. i just simply wish he'd fall off a cliff.

my hate for chipper was simply as an opposing player. i always respected his game and all too often to my dismay he displayed it against the phils.

if this is it for jones i tip my hat to him. 1st ballot HOF IMO.

 

same hatred as i've had for players like Westbrook, Mcnabb, And Dawkins. Utley, Rollins, and now Howard. [Im glad Ibaunez wasn't a phillie his whole career, seems like he always kills us]. But respect them all so much.
