According to Titans head coach Mike Munchak, middle linebacker Colin McCarthy's progress from a concussion was not what it needed to be in order for him to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

“We're not happy with here he's at right now, and it's probably good to rest him for another week,â€￾ Munchak said. “He's progressing, but with more activity, he's just not ready to play in a football game. … He needs to be a little better than he is right now in order to play in a game on Sunday. So we just ruled him out.â€￾

Receiver Damian Williams is also out with a hamstring injury and Munchak left open the possibility of promoting practice squad receiver Michael Preston to the 53-man roster for Sunday's game.

Left tackle Michael Roos returned to practice on Friday with his sprained knee and is listed as questionable.

Others on the injury report who are questionable include running back Jamie Harper (ankle), receiver Lavelle Hawkins (ankle) and defensive end Kamerion Wimbley (toe).

Those listed as probable on the injury report are quarterback Jake Locker (shoulder), tight end Jared Cook (neck) and receiver Kenny Britt (knee).
