Titans running back Chris Johnson left Baptist Sports Park on Thursday at 200 pounds. He’s planning on returning a little heavier to have himself prepared for training camp, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports. After playing last season in the 191-pound range, Johnson said he’d like to be in the 197- to 198-pound range this fall. “I want to be a little heavier because it makes me feel a little sturdier and it helps me make it through the whole season with the bumps and bruises,’’ he said.
