The Seahawks have been willing to spend a lot of money in coaches and players, and McDaniels is a hot candidate who already has interviewed with the Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams. McDaniels was the first candidate interviewed by the Rams for their offensive coordinator opening, but those talks have hit a snag, a source said. Also, Tom Cable, former head coach of the Raiders, is another top candidate available as offensive line coach, an area that needs upgrading in Seattle.
