Got curious and decided to look this up since the season is so topsy-turvey. You may be surprised at 4 of the QBs who made the list: 1. Peyton Manning - 67% comp, 1916 yards, 13 TD, 2 INT; 103.4 Rating 2. Vince Young - 59% comp, 998 yards, 9 TD, 2 INT; 103.1 Rating * 3. Rivers - 64.7% comp, 2649 yards, 15 TD, 7 INT; 98.9 Rating 4. Garrard - 67.8% comp, 1098 yards, 13 TD, 7 INT; 98.8 Rating 5. Tom Brady - 65.3% comp, 1602 yards, 12 TD, 4 INT; 96.6 Rating **6. Schaub - 64.5% comp, 1538 yards, 9 TD, 5 INT; 93.0 Rating 7. Orton - 61.7% comp, 2509 yards, 12 TD, 5 INT; 92.7 rating 8. Brees - 70.7% comp, 2334 yards, 16 TD, 11 INT; 92.6 rating 9. Fitzpatrick - 59.7% comp, 1200 yards, 12 TD, 5 INT; 91.1 rating 10. Cassel - 58.7% comp, 1196 yards, 10 TD, 3 INT; 90.4 rating 11-15 (Matt Ryan, Seneca Wallace, Eli Manning, Josh Freeman, Kevin Kolb) - Vince Young has thrown the least amount of pass attempts by all QBs on this list - Philip Rivers and David Garrard have thrown the most picks of the players on this list. Rivers had two straight 2 interception games and threw one pick in the last 3 contests, where Garrard has had one multi-interception game (4 against SD). - Fitzpatrick has only participated in 5 games - Drew Brees has thrown more touchdowns than anyone (Except for Favre and Eli), but has the highest completion percentage in the league. **Romo would be #6, but I'm calculating QBs who are going to be playing the rest of the season Just something interesting I wanted to throw together. This season is really interesting, and I wanted to see if maybe QB play has anything to do with it.
Surprised Vince Young isn't number 1, after all, all he does is win games :icon_cheesygrin: (LOL). To be honest, it seems this year the QB Rating seems to have little baring on passer performance considering two of the top five are below 160 yards passing per game (Young & Garrard) and rely on their running games for the production.
Yup, still speaks volumes for their efficiency. Younger Vince (pun not intended) would not complete 60%
I don't, because at the end of the day, when you drop back, you need to be accurate. He never was before, he would miss WRs lined up 1 on 1. While CJ is a huge factor, to say that he hasn't improved is ludicrous.
