UK sport stars named as captains for London NFL Game

    As part of the build up to the London game this Sunday.

    John Terry Didier Drogba & Martin Johnson were made honorary captains.

    Terry & Drogba will be Giants captain & Johnson will be a captain for the Dolphins.

    Cheslea & England football (Soccer) captain John Terry said “I have always been a big fan of American football and it is great to be asked to be honorary captain. When we have toured the US we have often used NFL facilities and our players have met a number of players there and we have always been massively impressed by the athleticism and skill in the game.”

    The Giants have been training at Chelsea Cobham training ground in Surrey ahead of Sunday game.

    Johnson who was England most successful Rubgy Union captain, a lifelong NFL fan & ex BAFL player said “This is the biggest thing ever to happen to the NFL in this country and I am honoured to be involved. I met with the Dolphins owner, management and star player Jason Taylor earlier this year, and will be proud to represent them.”

    The game will be live on Fox in the US Sky Sports in the UK with highlights for non cable fans shown later.
