"West Coast Killers" Label Motivated The 49ers Sunday

    Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports after Tampa Bay's 21-0 win in San Francisco last season, Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris dubbed his team, "The West Coast Killers," a moniker he resurrected this week as his team prepared for another trip to California. The remarks arrived in the Bay Area well ahead of the Buccaneers. "It came up a little bit," said 49ers safety Dashon Goldson. "They called themselves the West Coast Killers, they came into our home, and we had to defend our turf (against) the West Coast Killers

    It was very enjoyable watching the 49ers get thier revenge. Bucs are still better than people think. This was only one game. I hope 2003 doesnt resurface... win big then suck donkey rod the following week.
