The Houston Texans didn't waste any time installing wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins as a starter in his first practice. Hopkins didn't waste any time coming to terms on his rookie contract.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported Monday that Hopkins agreed to a four-year, $7.62 million contract. Hopkins will get a signing bonus of $3.92 million, with the first three years of his deal guaranteed. The No. 27 player selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, Hopkins was an offseason standout on a team that badly needs wide receiver help.
