Batista pisses me off. Christian carried him all the match. Batista cant sell moves for crap. His promo was horrible. He's the worst champ since Goldberg who was booked in tag matches.

    Its all about Jericho!

I don't think it was that great of a match either..but HHH had no business even being out there...Christian is such a freaking little wimp, he always has to have his back-ups. What a freaking baby.

Re: WWE Raw Previews & Results

HHH is a good heel and all, but sometimes I wish the show wasn't always about him. I would have much rather seen Batista go against Christian in a match without interference.

Still, I always enjoy watching the Coach get beat up. :)

Yeah, I get tired of the HHH show too....Batista could've torn Christian totally apart if not for all the interference. I agree....the Coach deserves to get beat at least once a week

Monday Night RAW Results for 4/25:

Batista came out to start the show and introduced Jim Ross, who he said accomplished in one night what it took him two years to do. Ross looked in awful shape after last week’s match. Batista congratulated Ross, and said on top of being the best wrestling announcer ever, he also has some wrestling skills. Ross tried to discourage him. Batista said it takes guts to get in the ring with HHH, and he took his beating like a man. The crowd chanted JR. An angry HHH came out, but Batista kept cutting him off. He laughed at HHH, suggested JR should now be the number one contender, and repeatedly showed the footage of Ross pinning HHH. HHH was shaking with anger. He teased coming to the ring, but thought better of it.

Chris Jericho beat Sylvan Grenier with the Walls. Resistance jumped him after the match, but Shelton Benjamin made the save. Benjamin proceeded to give Jericho the T-Bone and said to Y2J, 'Who is the snitch now?'

Backstage, Ric Flair told Christian and Tyson Tomko to beat up Batista so HHH can take over. Christian told Flair and HHH to stay out, because tonight was his night. Christian then came out in front of the crowd, and he vowed to beat Batista, and again knocked John Cena. Kane then came out and laid out Tomko for no reason. Christian left through the crowd.

Backstage, Christian came back to Ric Flair, apologizing and looking for help now that Tomko was out of commission. Flair got HHH, who let Christian into his dressing room to talk.

Coach was going to interview Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan, but Michaels told him to beat it. Gene Okerlund did the interview.

The RAW divas came out, then the Daily Star Page 3 girls came out and plugged William Regal’s autobiography. Regal and Tajiri came out. Regal said a few years ago he didn’t think he would be here to put it into print, and got a bit emotional. Regal and Tajiri then danced with the women. Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari interrupted, and pointed out the brainless bimbos were dancing around like mindless idiots. He challenged Regal and Tajiri to a match in which they accepted.

Hassan and Daivari beat Regal and Tajiri. Regal and Tajiri dominated early, then Daivari interfered behind the referee’s back, giving Hassan the advantage over Regal. They worked over Regal back and forth until he made the hot tag to Tajiri. Daivari quickly cut him off, Hassan hit the downward spiral, and Daivari hit the leg drop off the top for the pin. They laid out Regal & Tajiri after the match.

Edge beat Val Venis with the spear. Edge gave Venis a leaping DDT, and used the sharpshooter and crippler crossface after the match. Benoit came out, gave Edge some German suplexes, and Edge left.

Backstage, HHH gave Coach a referee shirt. He said Coach would be the referee for the main event, Flair the time keeper and HHH Christian’s problem solver. He told Coach that he didn’t need Bischoff’s permission, just HHH’s.

Batista beat Christian in the main event. Batista had Christian pinned early with a power slam but Coach went to tie his shoe. HHH gave Batista a low blow, and HHH and Flair proceeded to interfere freely with Christian in control. Christian went for the unprettier but was caught with the electric chair. Coach pulled up on the count, clutching his arm. Batista gave him a clothesline, knocked Flair and HHH out of the picture. He gave Christian the demon bomb and counted the pin with Coach’s limp arm. After the match, HHH gave Batista the pedigree.

Monday Night RAW Results for 5/2:

The show began with Batista flirting backstage with Christy. Eric Bischoff congratulated Batista on his title defense, and announced a Gold Rush tournament for a title shot where the participants won’t know they are in the match until it is announced. Bischoff gave Batista the night off, but Batista decided to hang around. He said he wanted to wrestle Bischoff and scared Bischoff, only to reveal he was joking.

Kane pinned Christian in the first Gold Rush match. Christian was confident at the outset, but quickly got overpowered. Tyson Tomko interfered behind the referee’s back, and Christian used a springboard crossbody. Kane went for a choke slam but Christian reversed into a sleeper. Kane reversed that with a side slam and went to the top. Tomko pushed him off, and Christian went for the unprettier. Kane sent Christian into Tomko and hit the choke slam for the pin.

Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari came out. He complained about being excluded from the Gold Rush tournament. He blamed Backlash on Hogan, Michaels and the fans. Then he added one more person who needed to be held accountable, Daivari. He slapped Daivari twice and kicked him.

Viscera came out, with new music of his own. Viscera started coming on to Lillian Garcia, when Simon Dean interrupted. Dean said women don’t want men who are out of shape, and offered his Simon system to Viscera. Viscera didn’t appreciate the offer, and quickly squashed Dean with a splash. After the match he told Lillian he is back on the market

Eric Bischoff found HHH in his office. HHH said he had Batista beat with the pedigree, and that he is owed an immediate title rematch. Bischoff said he doesn’t owe HHH anything, and that he has to win the tournament to get the title shot. HHH said Batista is on borrowed time.

Maria interviewed Shelton Benjamin, then Jericho confronted Benjamin and said he respects him. Benjamin said that means something to him. They shook hands and wished each other luck in the tournament. They ran a graphic for Chris Candido.

Shawn Michaels beat Shelton Benjamin in a fantastic Gold Rush match. They started with chain wrestling early. Benjamin controlled, and was able to dominate the middle part of the match. He hit the Stinger Splash, and went for the T-Bone, but Michaels reversed. Michaels went for sweet chin music but Benjamin got out with an awesome spinning heel kick for a very close near fall. Michaels hit the elbow off the top and went for sweet chin music, but Benjamin countered with a Cro Cop kick for another near fall. Benjamin hit a spectacular springboard clothesline off the top but Michaels again got up. Michaels threw Benjamin over the top rope but Benjamin stayed on the apron. He went for a springboard clothesline across the entire ring, but flew into an amazing superkick.

Edge was interviewed. He pointed out he beat Benoit and said he is in the Gold Rush tournament because no one can stop him twice. The interviewer pointed out that if he is drafted to Smackdown he will lose his Money in the Bank title shot.

Hurricane and Rosey defeated La Resistance with their double team side slam to retain the world tag titles

Edge beat Chris Jericho. Jericho controlled early but Edge came back by working on Jericho’s back. They showed Batista watching backstage. Edge walked into a hot shot, and Jericho used a clothesline. Jericho hit a huracanrana for a near fall, and an enzuigiri for another. Edge grabbed the briefcase and went to use it, but Jericho stopped him with a springboard drop kick and pescado. Edge missed a spear, and Jericho got the Walls. Edge made it to the ropes and hit him with the briefcase. He then hit a missile drop kick for a near fall and finished off Jericho with a spear. This was another good match.

Chris Benoit beat HHH. Benoit hit a snap suplex early and went for the crossface which HHH escaped. Benoit came back with the rolling Germans and the head butt off the top for a near fall. Benoit went for the sharpshooter but Ric Flair distracted him. HHH hit Benoit in the back of the head and Flair and HHH double teamed him. Batista made the save, HHH went for the pedigree but Batista reversed with the spine buster. Benoit applied the sharpshooter and Batista pulled the ropes away from HHH. HHH shockingly tapped.

He said HHH isn’t good enough to face him. HHH threatened to leave Raw if he doesn’t get a title shot, and Batista said he’s a poor loser. HHH left and drove away. Chris Jericho beat Khosrow Daivari. Before the match Daivari begged Hassan for forgiveness. He issued an open challenge to anyone backstage. Jericho beat him with the Walls, and Hassan jumped Jericho after. Benjamin made the save. Eric Bischoff told Christy he hopes she is drafted to Smackdown, and he will replace her with the new Diva Search winner.

Christian backstage mocked Ric Flair, who challenged Christian to a match. They aired an advertisement for ECW One Night Stand. They did a WWE 24/7 flashback to Jerry Lawler winning the AWA Title fifteen
    years ago today.

Viscera, who received a face reaction from some fans, beat Sylvan Grenier with the sit down power bomb. Viscera stole a fan’s nachos after the match and came on to Lillian. A weird segment took place backstage where Kane alluded to Lita saying she hoped he would rot in hell, and said he would become champion. Kane said he always gets what he wants, and Lita said so does she.

Kane beat Chris Benoit. Benoit hit the diving head butt and an enzuigiri. He was going to attack Kane to the outside, but Lita hurt her knee, and Benoit tried to help her. Kane assaulted him from behind and hit the choke slam for the pin.

Ric Flair beat Tyson Tomko. Christian said Flair would have to go through Tomko, so Flair did. Flair used a chop block and applied the figure four quickly. Christian raked Flair’s face, so the referee ejected him. While he was leaving, Flair used a low blow and grabbed the tights for the pin.

Stacy plugged a Stuff Magazine spread. Simon and Maven came out and insulted her, but Hurricane and Rosey made the save. Coach alluded to an ECW PPV, and there were ECW chants from the crowd. Bischoff was annoyed, and threatened to squash ECW.

Shelton Benjamin beat Robert Conway with a crescent kick and springboard bulldog. Hassan and Daivari jumped Benjamin after the match. They aired the Bad, Bad Man video. Shawn Michaels was interviewed backstage by Maria. Michaels put over Shelton Benjamin and promised to beat Edge.

Edge beat Shawn Michaels. Michaels used a springboard crossbody to the floor early. Edge used a Hot Shot to turn the tide, and controlled the match for a while. Michaels came back with a flying forearm and elbow off the top. He went for sweet chin music but Edge avoided it. Michaels accidentally knocked out the referee. Edge hit the leaping DDT, and went for the spear, but walked into sweet chin music. There was no referee, and Edge tried to hit Michaels with the briefcase. Michaels avoided that and used the sunset flip, but Edge clobbered him with the briefcase for the pin.

Next week on RAW, it will be the finals of the Gold Rush tournament as Edge face Kane, Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin vs Muhammad Haasan & Khosrow Daivari, and Christian takes on Ric Flair
