"General manager Brian Cashman refused to confirm or deny that Mike Cameron is high on the Yankees' list of free-agent signings if the veteran outfielder becomes a free agent. According to an industry source, the Yankees are waiting to see if the Brewers pick up a $10 option on Cameron, who will be 36 in January. If they don't, the source said, the Yankees have targeted him because they consider him an upgrade at center field, where they have Brett Gardner, Melky Cabrera and Johnny Damon .

I'd take Cameron over any of those outfielders. Gardner has potential and is amazing on the bases, I've always thought Melky was overrated, and Johnny still has some offensive production, but a noodle for an arm.
And Cameron is better than all three of them.

Cameron is probably wanting a good chunk of coin, I wouldn't give it too him.

Looks like the Brew crew picked up his 10 million dollar option. Gonna be a Brewer in 09...
