Waiver Wire Tip, Justin Forsett RB Seattle

Julius Jones left Sunday’s game against the Cardinals with a chest injury. Justin Forsett comes in and has over 100 yards and a TD and the games isn’t over yet! If Jones chest injury is serious Forsett is a solid pickup and considering his play against the stout Arizona D he should end up earning himself a large amount of work going forward.

** update **

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Julius Jones experienced bleeding in his lung after being hospitalized Sunday.
Jones stayed in the hospital overnight while the rest of the Seahawks traveled back to Seattle. He appears to have suffered a severe injury that will almost certainly keep him out of multiple games. Jones also has a broken rib. Fantasy owners figure to get at least two starts (@ MIN, @ STL) out of Justin Forsett. Change of pace back Louis Rankin will also be involved.

  1. The start against Saint Lous is as good as it gets. Julius Jones is dropable cause they'll give the rookie most of the carries the remainder of the season even after Jones returns, since they were unhappy with his production and low yards per carry and everyone expected Forsett to eventually take over and become the feature back. winningalert.com

    • I would not say Jones is Drop-able. If you have space keep him and see how this pans out. Coach's can have a thing for vets.

  2. who's the better pick up snelling or forsett?

    • Snelling should have more long term value but could end up competing with Norwood. Pick Snelling since he is in a better offense.
