The NFL season kicked off on Thursday with a big injury to the Steelers Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu. The hard hitting safety may miss 3-6 weeks according to coaches speculation, with a sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

Here are other injuries around the NFL more relevant to the weekend matchups.
