Week 16 IDP Rankings-DB: Start Kurt Coleman & William Moore
Posted by Tom Digliani on Dec 21, 2011 in IDP Fantasy Football, IDP Rankings
Here we are folks, Week 16!
For many of you this is Championship week and if you have made it this far, Congrats!
This week make sure to get Kurt Coleman into your lineups. Coleman plays well against passing teams and Dallas will throw early and often. With Felix Jones nicked up and Dallas lacking RB depth, I expect Dallas to air it out. Coleman will benefit as he tries to limit Jason Witten and help over the top of Dez Bryant and Miles Austin.
I also would start William Moore. He is ranked 14th in our Week 16 DB Rankings. He has played well since coming back and reclaiming his spot in the defensive backfield. This week he will face a Saints team that throws all the time and also utilizes the TE (Jimmy Graham) as much as any team. Expect a nice showing out of him.
| DB Rank | Player Name | Vs | Comments |
|---|---|---|---|
Yeremiah Bell | NE | How can you not like him with how much he will be chasing around Welker and the TEs?
Roman Harper | ATL |
Darian Stewart | PIT | Lots of throwing and Big Ben is letting some balls go high with that injured ankle
George Wilson | DEN |
Antoine Bethea | HOU |
Tyvon Branch | KC | Should get around 8 tackles playing in the box this week
Bernard Pollard | CLE |
Charles Tillman | GB | Will see a lot of Jordy Nelson and a lot of balls thrown his way this week
Morgan Burnett | CHI | Hanie is bound to make a mistake or two...or three
Earl Thomas | SF |
Charles Godfrey | TB |
Sean Jones | CAR |
Kurt Coleman | DAL | Should be all over the field all day with the three big playmakers all healthy for Dallas
William Moore | NO |
Eric Weddle | DET |
Patrick Chung | MIA | Will this be the week he finally makes it back on the field?
Donte Whitner | SEA |
Deangelo Hall | MIN |
Kam Chancellor | SF |
Amari Spievey | SD | Nobody is slinging the ball better than Rivers in the past couple of weeks. Spievey should have his hands full all day
Troy Polamalu | STL |
Charles Woodson | CHI |
Antrel Rolle | NYJ |
Jacob Lacey | HOU | Has been a target-magnet the past few weeks and is making the most of it
Devin McCourty | MIA |
Dashon Goldson | SEA |
Eric Smith | NYG |
Patrick Peterson | CIN | Should match up nicely against AJ Green
Glover Quin | IND |
Nate Allen | DAL |
Jairus Byrd | DEN | Will need to make his plays against the running game in order to have an impact
Reggie Nelson | AZ |
E.J. Biggers | CAR |
Jason McCourty | JAX | Went from a top-10 DB to mush with his recent injury and then a clunker against Indy. Now he plays a JAX team that cannot complete passes. Tough to rack up tackles that way
Danieal Manning | IND |
Quintin Mikell | PIT |
Charlie Peprah | CHI |
Tanard Jackson | CAR | Will be helping on Olsen and over the top on Steve Smith all day long
Kyle Arrington | MIA |
Tracy Porter | ATL | With how much Matty Ice has aired it out, Porter should have plenty of chances to make plays
