Posted by Ray Tannock on Dec 29, 2011 in Fantasy Football, Fantasy Football Rankings
Week 17 has very little fantasy football competition going on, but for those of you who are still competing, we give you the final week of rankings before we go into several other modes that you’re sure to love.
But for those of you who are out and still doing some research, there are a few names on this list you may want to jot down—chances are, they could become valuable next year, and should be—at the very least—fun to watch this weekend.
Let’s see who’s who
| TE Rank | Player Name | Team | Player Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Rob Gronkowski | NE | Yup, still number one! |
Jimmy Graham | NO | |
Jason Witten | DAL | |
Antonio Gates | SD | Gates should finish the year on a very high note. |
Brandon Pettigrew | DET | This is a really tasty matchup here. |
Tony Gonzalez | ATL | |
Aaron Hernandez | NE | Hernandez could get more work than usual in this game. |
Jermichael Finley | GB | Could be targeted more than usual if Flynn gets under center after the first...a very real possibility. |
Scott Chandler | BUF | Another tasty matchup. |
Vernon Davis | SF | |
Jermaine Gresham | CIN | |
Brent Celek | PHI | |
Dustin Keller | NYJ | |
Joel Dreessen | HOU | Daniels could eventually be rested, raising the value of Dreesen. |
Greg Olsen | CAR | |
Kellen Winslow | TB | |
Jared Cook | TEN | |
Ed Dickson | BAL | |
Todd Heap | ARI | |
Jacob Tamme | IND | Tamme should get the nod, not Clark., |
Visanthe Shiancoe | MIN | |
Marcedes Lewis | JAC | |
Heath Miller | PIT | Will have a better day than days past. |
Owen Daniels | HOU | |
Kevin Boss | OAK | |
Evan Moore | CLE | |
Jeff King | ARI | |
Dennis Pitta | BAL | |
Kyle Rudolph | MIN | The Vikings will probably give Rudolph more playing time now that they are in evaluation mode, and that will bode well for his owners. |
Jeremy Shockey | CAR | |
Kellen Davis | CHI | |
Julius Thomas | DEN | Not a bad start. |
Leonard Pope | KC | |
Travis Beckum | NYG | |
Brandon Myers | OAK
