You're in the 93rd regular season of the National Football League, see how it has evolved. The 2012 NFL season will kickoff on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, with the defending Super Bowl XLVI champion New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium. The regular season schedule is lined up as such that I see some clear winners and some clear losers, more on that in a minute.
The dates for each game in the 2012 NFL schedule is set to be released some time in April, but until then this list is GREAT for those of you wanting to know who your favorite NFL team is scheduled to play this year. Of course, my New Orleans Saints have what looks to me like the most difficult schedule of all NFL teams. Taking the difficult schedule into account, plus bounty punishments, it's not looking so good for Who Dat Nation.

Below I've sorted the schedule by division, click a tab to see your teams schedule and my rating each respective division. Each team is rated as follows:
[custom_list type="dot"]
- "green check mark" which means they have the easiest schedule in their division and team abilities.
- "grey dot" which means they have a neutral schedule within their division and team abilities.
- "red X" which signifies a difficult schedule based on their division and team abilities.

In the AFC North, you'll see that I favor Pittsburgh's schedule. The Browns are screwed and the Bengals are a neutral. Not sure about Baltimore, I went back and forth with them and have settled with "green check" representing a favorable schedule.

In the AFC South, I see Strength of Schedule going to Houston and Tennessee, with three "easy" games on their schedule. The Jags and Colts don't exactly have tough match-ups but their teams leave a bit to be desired, earning them a "neutral" and "X".

In the NFC East, the Giants schedule represents the hard rope to pull with the Cowboys in a close second. The Eagles should dominate their division this year.

In the NFC South, aside from the home game against Washington, the Saints schedule is stacked! Atlanta has some pretty difficult match-ups too, earning them a fat red X. It's obvious who the NFL's scheduling system favors this year, the Carolina Panthers.
