It is officially the off-season and that is where champions are made. A time for free-agency, combine, draft, coaching changes, and Super Bowl odds for Super Bowl XLIX. The Seattle Seahawks coming off the annihilation of Peyton Manning and the Broncos are the early favorites with 5/1 odds. The best part of the Seahawks is how young they are. They were the youngest team in the NFL this year and are returning most of the defense who is being compared the 1985 Chicago Bears. What is amazing about the set-up they have is the depth and talent that composes the make up of this team. Within todays financial obligations and the want for more money it is hard to keep players around. The Hawks have made smart choices with late draft picks and free agents. They also are bringing back arguably the best quarter back out of the 2012 class in Russell Wilson. It is easy to guess that they will repeat next season.

I am here to say that the Seahawks will not repeat this coming season. Coming out of the NFC who will stand in the way of the Hawks is the San Francisco 49ers. The core of the roster will stay the same and leading that is Colin Kapernick. It is safe to say that he will continue to grow and become more of a pocket presence and be able to use his feet when needed. To tag along with Colin Kapernick the Defense that has been dominant in the past years will continue to stay strong.
The Indianapolis Colts will represent a weak AFC in this coming Super Bowl. Unless the New England Patriots can find Tom Brady some weapons you can count them out. The other big threat is the defending AFC champion Broncos. The problem with Denver is, is that Peyton Manning is not getting any younger. Eric Decker and Knowshown Moreno are both free agents and are not guarantees to come back. The difference between the Colts and the rest of the field is Andrew Luck. If Reggie Wayne comes back healthy the duel threat between him and T.Y. Hilton will be something fierce. Also a running presence with Trent Richardson coming into his third year can be a big help. What needs to step up big is a defense that had spurts of greatness throughout the season. A push from the defense and a few moves here and there will produce a Super Bowl caliber team.
Other teams to look for: Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants
Teams to stay away from: Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons
