Las Vegas based rockers, Adelitas Way are no strangers to sports, having written songs for the WWE, NFL and NHL in their brief career. Their smash hit "Invincible", is the official theme song for WWE Superstars on WGN America. They also perform the song "A New Day" as the theme song for the defunct WWE Tag Team The Legacy which was later used as the former theme song for Ted DiBiase.
This June, the band will be releasing their sophomore album, Home School Valedictorian. The record's first single, "Sick" hits stores and iTunes today. This morning I sat down with Rick at Friday's in Buffalo, New York as the band starts their new tour with Sick Puppies and Framing Hanley. One of the first questions I asked him was what makes him "Sick" these days. It didn't take long for him to get to the NFL Lock Out, and why he's devastated and angry about it.
You can listen to what he had to say on the subject below, and head over to Metalholic.com tonight to hear his full interview.
