After a couple years of lackluster Super Bowl commercials I was pleased during Super Bowl 45. Especially during the first half where laugh out loud commercials poured from my TV for my viewing pleasure. Never have commercials really been something I like to watch.. most all of us record shows and fast forward the commercials but hey this is the Super Bowl, no DVR in sports man, who the hell DVR's sports? But anyways, here's like my top 3 or top 10 or however many I end up with.
I was never a Star Wars geek but this commercials tapped into a theme everyone is familiar with, Star Wars geek or not. I was laughing before the punchline even came, now this is a commercial. I think this commercial wins "Best Super Bowl XLV ad", hands down. Volkswagen Commercial: The Force

Now this one wasn't extremely funny but it did make me think and anything thought provoking in 30 seconds or less on cable TV is worth a mention and makes my "best super bowl commercials list". CarMax - Kid In A Candy Store - 2011 Super Bowl Commercial Ad
Made in America, well not really, it's assembled in America. Never the less I think America needed to see this commercial even though more than %90 of them will never own a Chrysler. Chrysler Eminem Super Bowl Commercial - Imported From Detroit
Who else to close this out but the e-trade baby. Is it just me or are you as enamored with this little guy as I am? I watch him pimp on youtube all the time, wish they had more of him out there. E-TRADE Baby - Tailor - 2011 Super Bowl Commercial Ad
