All updated projections for the most current NFL season are here: weekly Yahoo projections - weekly DraftKings projections - weekly Fanduel projections.
Getting the most out of your week 11 RB picks on daily fantasy football sites like Draftkings and Fanduel will require you to identify key matchups as well as utilizing players with the most value. Value is determined by comparing a player's average productions to their daily fantasy football salary price. The players with the highest of these values are ones that should be further considered for your lineup. In this article, I have grouped together a list of week 11 running backs with value who also happen to be facing a favorable opponent. This article mostly focuses on DraftKings and presents the current player salary for week 11 RBs but the same arguments can be made for choosing any of the following players for Fanduel.

Le'Veon Bell ($7,200) Pittsburgh@Tennessee
Bell makes for a good 50/50 week 11 running back pick because of his consistent play and consistent performance. He hasn't had any huge games like he did in the beginning of the season, but he is still averaging 20 fantasy points per game on DraftKings. Yes, you are paying for your points here but you are reducing your risk at RB1 position. The matchup does provide quite a bit of upside for Bell in week 11. The Titans have allowed 450 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns in the last 4 weeks even with a bye in week 9.
Mark Ingram ($6,200) Cincinnati@New Orleans
Ingram really could go off this week against Cincinnati, who has really been trending poorly against the run recently. The Bengals have allowed a whopping 7 rushing TDs in the last 4 weeks. Could see similar number as were seen in week 9 from Mark Ingram.
Ahmad Bradshaw ($5,700) New England@Indianapolis
The Patriots are another team that has been trending pretty poorly against the run recently. Over the last 4 weeks, they have been the 4th easiest team for RBs to obtain fantasy points from.
Bradshaw provides good value on Draftkings, averaging 16.8 fantasy points per game.
Alfred Morris ($5,400) Tampa Bay@Washington
This week 11 DraftKings pick is actually a little more risky than it looks. The Buccaneers started the year pretty bad against the run but have improved significantly over the previous weeks. In fact, they have only allowed 1 TD and 236 rushing yards in the last 4 weeks. I still like the value here and there is still a good chance that the Tampa defense plays more like they did earlier on in the year.
Jerick McKinnon ($4,800) Minnesota@Chicago
This really is a coin flip pick here. You could go with Asiata or McKinnon here, as one of the two will probably have a really good day but it's hard to predict who it will be. McKinnon had more touches last week but Asiata got in the end zone 3 times.
Matt Asiata ($4,600) Minnesota@Chicago
Leaning a little towards Asiata as opposed to McKinnon mostly because it seems as though the team trusts Asiata just a little more in the red zone.
Frank Gore ($4,500) San Fransisco@NYG
The Giants are another team that is just giving away fantasy points to opposing RBs. Gore had 23 carries against the Saints last week and I expect that workload to continue against a Giants team who have given up 487 yards rushing and 5 rushing TDs in the last 4 weeks.
Ryan Matthews ($4,500) Oakland@San Diego
Matthews is listed as probable for the game and I would expect him to come back and have the starting job against Oakland. You might try Branden Oliver ($5,200) here as either one of those two guys will likely have a good game but I prefer the price of Matthews.
Steven Jackson ($4,400) Atlanta@Carolina
Still pretty much the same salary price he was at last week and if he was in your lineup, then you know you got a lot of bang for your buck in week 10 (17.5 fantasy points). The only difference this week is that the matchup is actually more favorable than it was last week.
The Browns' run game seems to find success with the ball in West's hands
Terrance West ($4,400) Houston@Cleveland
The Browns' offense ran the ball 48 times Thurday night against Cincinnati. This three headed monster rushing attack was led by West but Tate and Crowell got in the endzone as well. The trend seems to be going in the favor of West being the primary ball carrier but it's hard to say exactly who in the backfield will get the most action on any given Sunday.
Darren McFadden ($4,300) Oakland@San Diego
If you're looking to save a few bucks for the rest of your lineup, consider McFadden because of the price and matchup. The Chargers are about middle of the pack against the run for the 2014 season so far but have been trending poorly of late. The defense has given up the 6th most fantasy points to running backs in the last 4 weeks.
Bobby Rainey ($4,000) Tampa Bay@Arizona
This pick makes absolutely no sense when you look at it at first but if you look a little deeper you can see that the Cardinals, although one of the top teams in the NFL against the run, have been playing poorly against the run recently. Opposing teams have scored 3 rushing TDs and obtained 316 rushing yards in the last 4 weeks against Arizona. Rainey dropped in price and not many people will likely be playing him this week because of the apparent bad matchup which makes him a sneaky tournament play in week 11. Still a high risk week 11 RB DraftKings pick though.
Trent Richardson ($3,800) New England@Indianapolis
I like the price and the potential for some yards and a touchdown against the Patriots.
Jonathan Stewart ($3,400) Atlanta@Carolina
Stewart is still priced so low and actually priced a little lower than teammate Deangelo Williams is this week although it was Stewart who had the more productive week 10. I played him in one of my lineups last week and although he only had 15.9 fantasy points, it allowed me to stack my team up and I ended up with over 200 fantasy points total.
Results from week 10 projections:
- DeMarco Murray 22.1 Fantasy Points
- Marshawn Lynch 44.3 Fantasy Points
- Ronnie Hillman 4.2 Fantasy Points
- Jeremy Hill 6.1 Fantasy Points
- LeSean McCoy 8.7 Fantasy Points
- Justin Forsett 26.2 Fantasy Points
- Darren Sproles 15.1 Fantasy Points
- Bobby Rainey 9.6 Fantasy Points
- Steven Jackson 17.5 Fantasy Points
- Terrance West 15.4 Fantasy Points
- Jonathan Stewart 15.9 Fantasy Points
