FanDuel GPP Stacks Week 3

September 23, 2016 by Kurt Turner

Here's the best possible GPP stacks on FanDuel in week 3. Honestly, there are so many possible big games this week it's hard to go wrong. We're going to see some very high fantasy point totals in week 3. I'll be spending a little less than I did in previous weeks because of all the positive game scripts we're facing. Call me a chicken if you like, but I'll go home before I risk it all to win big!

Brees $9,000 and Thomas $4,500 Stack

Snead will be limited this week due to a toe injury. Even though I'm pretty sure he plays I'm thinking his production won't be as expected. This brings me to Cooks and Thomas, both are solid picks in a game Vegas has pegged as the highest scoring week 3 match-up.

Use our optimal lineup tool to sort by team and cherry pick the best value in positive game scripts match-ups.

Rivers $8,000 and Benjamin $6,900 Stack

I'm not sure how healthy the Colts defense is but they're still hurting enough to justify this must have week 3 stack. Not to mention the Chargers defensive woes will ensure this is a shootout. Gordon is another top option as the Charges will surely lean on him early to try and keep the Colts off the field.

Luck $8,700 and Dorsett $6,000 Stack

I'm going to have this stack in a lot of my week 3 GPP tournaments. I'll also alternate Dorsett with Dwayne Allen in at least 25% of my entries, which is easy with our optimal lineup tool. And I'll probably sprinkle in some Chargers too, like Gordon and Benjamin.

Manning $7,700 and Shepard $6,500 Stack

So why could become the most lethal stack in week 3? Washington has passed on more than 70% of their offensive snaps this season. The numbers don't lie, they haven't been able to run and show no willingness to try an wear down the defensive line. They are headed for a brick wall in week 3 because the Gaints defense has been solid versus the pass. This could equate to more offensive snaps for the Eli and Shepard. But won't the Giants run the ball? Jennings thumb injury could mean we see a lot more of Vereen, who isn't a ground and pound back. I'm avoiding Beckham due to his price and the Josh Norman factor.

Palmer $8,200 and Floyd $6,900 Stack

If you don't run this stack I still like Floyd a lot in this one. Buffalo is giving up the 2nd most number of passing plays over 20 yards with 11. This could be Floyd's biggest game of the year, at least that's what I'm looking for. Obviously everyone else is running with Larry Fitzgerald here, so this is a pivot play.

Team Defense Week 3 Stacks

  • Miami Dolphins $4600 and Jay Ajayi $5700 Stack
  • Dallas Cowboys $4,600 and Ezekiel Elliott $8,100 Stack
  • Seattle Seahawks $5,400 and Christine Michael $6,900 Stack

Best Value Picks

  1. Charles Clay (TE) – Sammy Watkins out they will be playing catch-up.
  2. Titans and Dolphins Stacks – Tajae Sharpe and Jarvis Landry will be paired with their quarterbacks a lot this week, but watch the weather in this one!
  3. Phillip Dorsett (WR) – Moncrief out and this one has shootout written all over it.
