Even though Jose Bautista had a breakout year in 2010 with 54 home runs, I don't think anybody thought it would carry over in 2011. Not only is Bautista a more valuable player than Albert Pujols right now, several other hitters are exceeding our expectations and are outperforming the three-time MVP. Unlike on the pitching side, rookies aren't filling our fantasy rosters with surprises, but several veterans and post-hype sleepers are finding their way back into relevance. We've seen top catchers Buster Posey and Joe Mauer go down and Angels slugger Kendrys Morales can't even make it onto the field. Despite some disappointing starts, there is much to look forward to the rest of 2011.
