Fantasy Football Sleepers

Who are the top fantasy football sleepers this season? A sleeper is that rookie, 3rd year player, free agent or heck any player who has an opportunity to produce league winning numbers outside of their ADP. Sleepers are often categorized as players that fall outside of the consensus top 12 QB's, top 24 RB's, top 36 WR's and top 12 TE's. But on this site we don't use hard fast rules. If a player is under appreciated we will call them a sleeper.

Either way you look at them, sleepers have upside to outproduce ADP. Stick with ADP to minimize your risk. You better have a long list and rank those sleeping beauties or else you'll end up with a bunch of has been washed up fantasy duds. So do yourself a favor and check out the articles below, they contain our top fantasy football sleepers for this NFL season.

Studs and Duds Week 2: Fresh Faces

September 17, 2010 by Kurt Turner

As many of my colleagues on this site have already stated, the first week of the fantasy football season is the single most frustrating and mystifying week of the entire season.  People like Austin Collie and Arian Foster go off like they’re perennial Pro Bowlers, while guys who are perennial Pro Bowlers like Andre Johnson […]

8 Best RB Deep Sleepers Around The League

August 24, 2010 by Kurt Turner

Most fantasy owners know the big name running back tandems and important handcuffs. The ever-popular running back by committee has made primary backs almost obsolete. Still each season a few new names pop up to surprise even the savviest of fantasy veterans. Guys like Arian Foster, Justin Forsett, and Jason Snelling came out of the […]

Nine Potential Studs You Forgot About for 2010

August 21, 2010 by Greg Brosh

When it comes to fantasy football snake drafts, you have one and only one true weapon to use against your opponents: the element of surprise. You know the guy going first is going to take Chris Johnson. You know the next guy will take Adrian Peterson. The next pick? Maurice Jones-Drew. By the time the first […]

Fantasy Football Sleeper: Cleveland Defense

August 12, 2010 by Kurt Turner

With an ADP of 26 among team defenses (341st overall), the Browns are getting no respect whatsoever. This despite ending the 2009 season tied for 11th in fantasy defense scoring, which included 40 sacks (good for 8th best in the league). More impressive, they did all this without their top defensive player, D’Qwell Jackson. Jackson […]

Fantasy Football Sleeper Mike Williams

August 11, 2010 by Kurt Turner

On a Tampa Bay team where many thought Sammy Stroughter and Michael Clayton were a lock as starters this season, reality has a decidedly rookie flavor. Clayton is about washed up in TB, and Stroughter is nothing more than a complimentary WR. QB Josh Freeman has to be particularly excited with the addition of WR’s […]
