As I write the Week 13 Waiver Wire Running Backs article, it seems that the the Fantasy Gods have been giving us good fortunes in the running back department. Any other time of the year, you’d have to make a trade to get a possible starter going into Week 13. But a concussion to Zac […]
The Best Waiver Wire Picks
The waiver wire is literally the single most powerful tool you can use to dominate your league. When hitting the waiver wire your goal is simple, replace your slackers with starters. You'll be temped to hold onto your draft picks because of the investment you made. Resist the urge to hold on to dead weight. Each season we see guys rise and fall. Drop the players that are failing and pick up the guys that are rising, it's that simple.
Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are the most critical! During the opening weeks you'll see wide receiver battles flesh themselves out, typically at the WR2 position or slot. Running back platoons (RBBC) may change as one runner rises above the rest enough to warrant a starting position on your team. Tight ends that no one saw coming put together several strong games and become solid depth or trade bait. Lastly, quarterbacks and team defenses can be streamed. We publish the best waiver wire picks every week, see below for our most recent picks.

Bobby Rainey The Buccaneers’ Next Featured Back?
Early last week, I wrote an article about the Tampa backfield after Mike James was lost for the season with a broken ankle following Monday night’s win over the Dolphins in Week 11. Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey were bound to make an impact. What either would do against the Falcons was unknown, although I […]
Week 12 Team Defense Waiver Wire Pickups
An enormous percentage of your focus each week is involved with decisions about RBs, WRs, TEs, and signal callers. That makes the amount of planning that you dedicate to team defenses far less extensive. While that is understandable, it still behooves you to maximize your chances of winning by examining all of your existing options. We have now progressed sufficiently […]
Week 12 Waiver Wire Tight Ends, Delanie Walker Worth A Look?
Unlike wide receivers, there usually isn’t as many tight ends to choose from on your waiver wire this deep in the season. But as this week’s Week 12 Waiver Wire Tight Ends article will show, there are still 2 guys to keep an eye on. Also make sure to check out the: Week 12 Waiver […]
