The Best Waiver Wire Picks

The waiver wire is literally the single most powerful tool you can use to dominate your league. When hitting the waiver wire your goal is simple, replace your slackers with starters. You'll be temped to hold onto your draft picks because of the investment you made. Resist the urge to hold on to dead weight. Each season we see guys rise and fall. Drop the players that are failing and pick up the guys that are rising, it's that simple.

Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are the most critical! During the opening weeks you'll see wide receiver battles flesh themselves out, typically at the WR2 position or slot. Running back platoons (RBBC) may change as one runner rises above the rest enough to warrant a starting position on your team. Tight ends that no one saw coming put together several strong games and become solid depth or trade bait. Lastly, quarterbacks and team defenses can be streamed. We publish the best waiver wire picks every week, see below for our most recent picks.

Fantasy Football Waiver-Wire Options: Pre Week One

September 8, 2011 by Greg Brosh

Even in large leagues, there is usually 1-2 guys at each position who wound up flying under the radar in all drafts. I’m not saying that these guys will put up fantasy numbers that mirror guys like Tom Brady or Larry Fitzgerald. But in the right matchup, these guys could easily help you out if […]

Waiver Wire Week 17, Championship Week and Playoff Scenarios

December 28, 2010 by Kurt Turner

The Waiver Wire pick ups for week 16 were really good with Danny Amendola, Jimmy Graham, Andre Caldwell and Tim Tebow; while had a big dud with Mike Sims-Walker, who lost to Rex Grossman and the Redskins to basically forfeit any chance at making the playoffs. Here comes week 17, it is the most hated […]

December 20, 2010 by Kurt Turner

Join me on Fantasy Football Tonight Monday @ 7pm CDT. Live Fantasy Football talk show. The Fantasy Football Waiver Wire pick ups from week 15 were very good overall. If you would have picked up Tim Tebow, Matt Flynn, Jonathan Stewart or Kenny Britt this week, you most likely would be advancing to the next […]

Waiver Wire Week 15, The Best Around

December 13, 2010 by Kurt Turner

The Waiver Wire pick ups from week 14 were good when you start to take a look on the amount of targets a few of those recommendations were getting [Bennett, Jennings and Lynch]. When I look forward to week 15, many fantasy players are either in the middle of their playoff run or for some […]

Waiver Wire Week 14, With Dez Down, Roy Moves In

December 6, 2010 by Kurt Turner

The Waiver Wire pick ups from week 13 were decent for this current week, but I think that down the line if you have players like Kenny Britt and Davone Bess, they will definitely help you either make the playoffs or win a championship. When I look at week 14, I notice at a quick […]
