I respect that you're trying to be a good fan, but no way in hell was the Chiefs defense better than the Giants in any phase or time period of the game at all. The only reason the Chiefs defense didn't give up anything in the 4th quarter was because the Giants really didn't even care. They mailed it in and it was completely obvious. The Chiefs are a joke.
they were the bottom half of good teams that we were close against last year. And we are still trying out a new system on offense. Even Dallas in the early 90's didnt hit things on all cylinders when they had all their weapons. But we need weapons first.
It was pretty evident to me when I watched the motherfreaking raiders game. Then Haley wants to yell and scream at the offense when he's calling the freaking plays. Do you really think Cassel is calling an audible every time a play is called in. Sure execution matters but what the heck do you expect when you keep changing personnel. How the heck are you gonna be on the same page. What the heck are we doing? It's frustrating. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Okay. Why don't you go ahead and list those teams. Are the Dolts a horrible team? We let that freaking game go and we had it. Players aren't the only problem. Haley seems to enjoy getting into it with his players. Look at Warner and Boldin. Can you count the number of times he yelled back and forth with both of those players in front of the camera? It's kind of embarrassing and it shows no freaking tact. Players make mistakes and dumb mistakes should be pointed out. Some should be handled behind closed doors.
Sure the volts were a good team, BUT, they are a West Rival and those are always close. Others were MIA, TB, NYJ. bottom half of better teams. I like how Haley is yelling at the dumb mistakes. Would you prefer Herms clapping and saying we'll get them next time? i wouldnt.
West rival games aren't always close and Miami was no joke last year. So you'd rather he throw his players under the bus than hold himself accountable? You should listen to his press conferences. No I don't like Herm but we had somewhat of a plan on offense last year. We ran a hybrid spread and let Tyler improvise for the majority of the year. Do you see any type of rhythm with this Haley instilled offense? Plus there's no consistency in the trenches. How many O-lineman have been replaced or moved around this year. Once again, our D looks a little better but what other positives can any of you see? We are rebuilding but IMO, not many positives can be seen through 4 games.
All of this is NEW! they arent going 2 be world beaters out ot the gate. Most of the team are still in thier first 2 to 3 years of the leauge. And our Team has faced 2 Conference Championship participants 1 division Champ and the faiders. What do you expect.
I didn't think we were going to be world beaters but I did think we'd have our crap together before camp ended. When was the last time you saw a professional team be this disorganized with personnel decisions and play calling during the regular season? Have you ever seen it? I'll stop being negative though. Hopefully this will all work out. Preferably in the next two years though.
I felt we had our shots in the first couple of games. But that emotion gets leveled out after a couple games. then we had the best teams out of the best division in football to play. and with these next games i think we will have our shots again.
We couldn't beat the raiders at home in one of the most horrible professional games in the last decade... Wait a sec. I have to be more positive.
On their (faiders) final drive they got that late hit on Russel that kept their drive alive. When Russel ran in2 his own lineman's fat butt.
...and we had several miscues earlier in the game that would've sealed the deal. We aren't a good, average, or below average football team.
We'll get there dude, it's gotta happen. We just need to get a couple wins under our belt to turn this crap around.
