Chiefs Setting Records For Futility?

Is this true? I heard on K.C. talk radio this morning that the Chiefs have set an NFL record by losing 27 of 29 games. It seems like the Bucs, Lions, Bengals, Saints, or Rams could have done that bad or worse during their bad stretches ................................ anyone know for sure if this is truth?

UPDATE: ---the radio station now says that the 2-27 record is just an AFC record and that the Bucs went 2-28 during a stretch and then won a game so the Chiefs would tie the NFL record with their next loss and then set a new record if they lose 2 more.

 

Just the kind of thing we love to read.../sarcasm.

 

sorry guys. didn't mean to rub salt in the wound. i just found it surprising. I didn't think they had gotten THAT bad to start setting records. Carl Peterson really left this franchise with a mess.

 

And so far, none of the 'new' changes have helped a thing...:icon_confused:
