Braylon Edwards Traded To Jets

Wfan in ny is reporting Braylon Edwards has been traded to the Jets. I'll post more when more details are released

 

Need a source, that's big for the Jets though. Sanchez has a #1 receiver now, assuming Edwards can get back to playing at that level.

Wow, it's crazy to see big name players get traded mid season.

 

why would the jets want all of the drama surrounding edwards to disrupt what they're building there? i'm not sure about this one .................... maybe it will work out for the jets but it also may backfire.

 

This is surprising considering the news about Edwards this week. This does bode well for my fantasy team though.

 

Good thing for the Jets, imo. A couple of no-names for a #1 WR to help a rookie QB. Sounds good for them.

 

I think Braylon needed a change of scenery. I'm pretty sure the jets run pretty much the same offense so it shouldn't be that big if an adjustment for him. That's a serious recieving threat right there, cotchery and Edwards.

 

Crap... I think it's solid for the Browns.

Who knows what the Jets are getting, whether Edwards big head and butterfingers can handle NY.

 

Depending on the picks looks like the Browns get good value for a guy who was gonna leave anyway, looks like they are in full rebuild mode

 

The picks are rumored to be a 3 and 5.

 

Browns were getting nothing if he left in January, so I'll take it. The relationship had pretty much run its course. Sad, but it's the best thing for Braylon and the Browns. What's he gonna do when LeBron goes to NY after 2010?

 

What's funny is that during the draft the browns only wanted a 3 and a 5 from the Giants. And it looks like the jets had to give up more.

 

Alright no more excuses Braylon.

 

VERY nice deal for the Jets imo. Rex Ryan is off to a great start. Watch out next year when Sanchez has had a full season under his belt. The Jets are going to be for real.

 

this is not a good deal for Braylon. He will be scrutinizea and watched constantly by the New York media.

 

I guess he punched the wrong guy, or the wrong guy's friend.
