It's still too early to tell where this whole thing with Michael Vick and the spread-option offense (aka Wildcat) is going to go but one place I can tell you with absolute certainty that it's not going to go, though, is into next season. No cited source there so you can really only take it as conjecture but I think it's probably correct - after Kolbs strong showing they really don't need to have Vick around anymore. Lots of teams would love to have him I'm sure - Oakland pops immediately to mind.
The Eagles are going to want draft picks for him so I'm sure they're not tipping their hand. Vick will get something like 5.6M if he stays for a second year, does anyone really think the Eagles are going to dole out that kind of money for a #3

I can understand why the Eagles are doing this and they get something they need in return for Vick ( Draft Picks) They do have Vick in Game Shape and he is learning from one of the top QB's in the League ( Mcnabb) things he didnt do in Atlanta.
