Actually D9 was great...

If anyone is looking for a good halloween flick I'd definitely recommend giving Trick 'r Treat a go. I enjoyed it, had a few laughs and some interesting characters to say the least.

 

Wow. I had never even heard of the movie until someone mentioned it earlier today. I added it to my blockbuster queue this afternoon. I'm glad you recommend it too. I'm sure I'll like it since I respect the movie opinions of you and the other person.

 

One thing, over the years we've been posting alot of movies we've seen and usually we seem to be eye to eye on most movies. I thought it was a fresh twist on the Halloween genre of horror flicks. The movie has a pretty solid rating on imdb at 7.8 with over 3k votes, but it seems like alot of people also dislike it.

 

I finally got around to 'The Hangover'.

It was pretty damn funny, but I expected more from all the rave reviews on GIF.

 

Trick R Treat is over 90% on rottentomatoes in all categories. Seems like a solid film. I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it.

 

you think that piece of crap pineapple express is hilarious, but you don't think Hangover was. That crap makes no sense. I don't know if I have ever seen a more stupid movie than that Pineapple crap.

both were spectaculer, which i didnt expect cause im more of a marvel kinda guy, but these were very good

i came home from school today, and since we have off tomorrow decided my homework can wait. instead i watched the batman movie with adam west and had dinner. then i watched first blood

 

First Blood is awesome.

 

if your gonna send up that many men remember one thing.....a good supply of body bags.

troutman was the heckin man in that movie

and just to update the other nerd movies i bought over the summer:

Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms (2006) (TV)
Hulk Vs. (2009) (V)
The Invincible Iron Man (2007) (V)

the hellboy one was amazing. i loved th infusion of japanese legends and the artwork was beautiful.
in hulk vs the thor story was heckin awesome the wolverine story was a let down
nothing spectacular about the ironman one

 

The Iron Man one looks pretty cool.

 

htere were a couple cool fight scenes, but nothing special.
