Washington Examiner sports columnist Rick Snider is reporting that John Gruden tops Dan Snyder’s wish list for the next head coach of the Washington Redskins. Jon Gruden appears to be the frontrunner in Dan Snyder's offseason search for his seventh coach in 11 seasons, sources close to Snyder say he began considering options to replace coach Jim Zorn after losing to Detroit on Sept. 27; a victory that ended the Lions' 19-game losing streak. Snyder has not contacted Gruden, say sources, but he believes the former Oakland-Tampa Bay coach might be the best fit among five Super Bowl winning coaches without jobs. Source: Examiner
I think he's pretty damn good on MNF. He loves talking about football and actually knows football...unlike Tony Cornhole or Dennis Miller.
Gruden would be a start, but what they really need is a real GM with serious control over personal decisions and an owner who doesn't run his team like it fantasy football.
I thought it was going to be cowher, or shanahan, I guess they don't want to be a part of that mess. Gruden is terrible on MNF, everyone leagues the league in grit or gusto or effort, he is a moron who looks like he just did a Giant line of coke.
I love Gruden on MNF, he cracks me the heck up. You all are a bunch of haters, you hate all of them always, next person who come in you will hate too.
There are some that are decent, but I just can't stand the blowhards who just like to hear their own voice. Gruden is a coke up moron that says everyone leads the league in grit.
I don't get the audio for MNF games. Just because I have 'hater' in my name doesn't mean I hate everyone.
