Chiefs Open To Dealing NT Glenn Dorsey?

I'm told by numerous league sources that the coaching staff in Kansas City isn't high on NT Glenn Dorsey, a former first-round draft pick. There's always a demand for nose tackles in this league, and the salary-cap ramifications wouldn't be a deterrent in dealing for Dorsey. Another Chief to keep an eye on is LB Derrick Johnson.

He isn't a NT he is a DT. But I thought he was playing well, why get rid of him?

    This.

I'm actually surprised at his performance lately.

Knocking down that pass was impressive, shows he's gained some athleticism since he lost some weight.

He is playing really well this year....they absolutely shouldn't move him. Our defensive line is really close to being solid. Far from the area of the football team we should be focusing on.

I put in another thread we will give you a 5th rounder for him and try him out at defensive end :icon_cheesygrin:

We desperately need linemen. Does he not have the size for NT or has he just not played it?

I think Haley needs to stop getting rid of players who are actually doing well...and concentrate on the O-line. His first step should be to fire hisself as OC!

6'1 297. Hardly a NT. But he is doing a very good job as a gap attacker as an end.

most of the feeling around k.c. is that trading derrick johnson might be the right thing to do but trading dorsey right now is too early.

Please trade him to a 4-3 team who know how to use him properly

And his progression as a 3-4 end shows he hasn't been used properly? Bullcrap.
