I took my wife to see The Informant over the weekend. Blech. There were a couple of humorous parts, but for the most part it was a total snoozer.

 

Year One. alot of dry humor.

Law Abinding Citizen ~ blew me away, and im a critic. :icon_cool:

 

I remember when I went a while back to see Year one...... I was laughing my butt off, it might be dry humor but its good humor...... I really loved to see how they tied in all those bible stories and made them funny......

"I want you to enter the holy of holies" says the princess or whatever........

Jack Black replies "I want you to sit on the poly of polies" it was something a long those lines, its been a hell of a long time sence I have seen that movie lol....


Also just saw "the mist" it was alright, always have mixed feelings about stuff like that, sometimes it works other times it doesnt. This I still dont know.

The end I am not going to lie was a twist but horrible, not horrible movie wise but horrible to think about yourself in that kind of situation.... if it were me I would have probably ran up to one of the military guys grabed his gun and shot myself...... or assualted them until they shot and killed me..... I could not live with myself if I did something like that.

 

I thought Law Abiding Citizen was good for a while then it turned sour and kind of ended up being a borderline crapty/terrible movie. Some great quotes from Butler in the movie, but once everything unfolded it sucked and the ending was icing on the cake. I'm really disappointed cause I wanted this movie to be good.

 

I thought Law Abiding Citizen was great yeah would of preferred a different ending but i thought it was awesome anyways.

 

It was stupid cause they made us sympathize for Butler's character and it was hard not to cheer for him when he was killing criminals and then he started killing innocent and it was still pretty cool and I was still rooting for him. I would have preferred if he leveled that building and lived happily ever after. Cmon he was 2 steps ahead of Fox' goober character all throughout the movie, than they go ahead and make a stupid ending like that.

 

yeah i agree he should of been in that cell way before fox was. They were still trying to figure it out i thought that was bull. Other than stupid ending it was still good.

 

Watched that new Paranormal Activity movie and I thought it was a bag of butt. Like they were trying to copy the Blair Witch Project or some crap. It had a couple scenes that were sort of scary/interesting but aside from those couple moments it was complete crap. If you are thinking about seeing this movie in theatres, DON'T! Please let me advise you not to see it on dvd, torrent, or in theatre. Luckily I didn't drop a dime on this, I got away with one.

 

you want a big piece of crap movie....try watching Dance Flick....its like the ghetto on white kid wannabe crack...

sooo bad. I thought I hated neopolian dynamite .....this movie is sooo much worse

Would anyone agree with me that the older scary movies are a lot more suspencefull and scarier then they are today?

I mean I remember watching Alfred Hitchcocks Psycho.... that movie was intense lol.

I watched Saw VI, it was actually pretty good, relevant for the times with healthcare and insurance companies, it tied things together and helped you to understand things from previous installments. The gore was awesome and the disturbing parts were extremely so. I liked it better than the last two saws. nicely done.

went to see SAW VI last night with my nephew, granted it was my second time watching the movie as I saw it twice in one day technically because the first showing I watched was at 12am Friday morning lol

midnight premiere then later that night took my nephew to watch it

I loved it :)
