Jerry Jones confirmed during an impromptu news conference Wednesday that the club entertained a considerable offer before Tuesday's trade deadline. While he wouldn't name the team involved, Jones confirmed that the inquiring club wanted of the Cowboys' younger players. Jones said it was a player the Cowboys needed to keep "right now" and that it wasn't a running back. Source: San Antonio Express-News
Wonder who it was probably someone on defense cause i dont think any of there offensive players are that good besides RB.
I'm thinking it was Martellus Bennett. The headline on DMN blog describes it as a MAJOR trade offer lol.
If it was not Bennett I could see maybe one of the WR, other than that I would have to say Scandrick would be a possible target.
If it's a young guy the only ones that would have made sense, would be guys like Scandrick, Spencer, and Bennett. As opposed to guys like Ware, Ratliff, and Jenkins who would never be dealt but these 3 would definitely indicate MAJOR trade lol.
Not in terms of skill at the moment but in terms of being an untradeable, he has a bright future ahead and is widely considered among the faithful our best corner.
i agree we scandrick will be starting in the coming years he was a steal i can also see someone wanting marty B/or maybe one of lb's bradie/spencer
What a worthless article. Seriously, how does someone even put in the effort to type this??? 'We THOUGHT about trading a younger player away'... who freaking cares if you ENTERTAINED the idea!
