Reggie Bush enjoyed running a simulation of Miami's wildcat offense in practice this week - and said he even broke out a few long runs with it. But don't expect the New Orleans Saints to change what's led to their 5-0 start this season. That's because head coach Sean Payton is unlikely to limit prolific quarterback Drew Brees' involvement in his offense. Source: The Sacramento Bee
will never be used. Wildcat is a gimmick for teams with bad offenses and clueless coordinators. Saints have wicked offense and Payton is *usually* a great playcaller.
This is practice for the Dolphins game. As CStevenson13 said, I'm not sure that Reggie is the best choice to simulate the Dolphins' "Wildcat" as he is not a downhill runner like Ronnie and Ricky. Reggie is versatile however, and he can throw the rock a little.
Broke some long runs, eh? Just trying to give the Dolphins hope, or might the fins actually be successful with it on Sunday? Should be a good game either way.
A lot of teams tries to run it with no success. Reggie is no where near the runner to try and simulate it with. And I hate the wildcat. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Gimmick is a play that works occasionally. The Wildcat works almost every time. This is coming from someone who hates the wildcat, which is me.
