NFL commissioner Roger Goodell expects the league to start playing multiple regular-season games in Britain in the next few years -- an expansion that could lead to putting a franchise in London. Goodell said Friday that "every indicator" shows the British market can support more games and that having a franchise here is of "tremendous interest" to the league. But he stopped short of giving a timeline for expanding the NFL's overseas presence. "The interest and the enthusiasm for our game continues to grow, and we want to feed that," Goodell said. "We want to respond to that by hopefully bringing more to the UK. Source: Associated Press
Bring one to Mexico, you little piece of crap. At least a preseason game, like in the 90's. Screw you, you freaking racist happy. I hope you die of AIDS.
w/o the fans from continental Europe, the support wouldn't be that huge and I doubt that fans will travel to London on a regular basis.
It wont have the affect he is hoping for, Granted to begin with people will think the opportunity to watch their team play in a different country would be fun. With more games in england as time goes on there will be a drop in Americans buying tickets just becuase with the economy as it is people wont make enough money to spend upwards of 600 dollars not including a hotel and car rental when over there. The ones you will consistantly see buying tickets and traveling to see all the games will be the hollywood actors that will buy private jets to go over there. having one maybe two games is ok but having more is just doing to be a lose of money for the NFL.
You would see more Americans going to mexico for a game then you would England, its cheaper and closer......
Godell just said it in an interview during the London game, that he can imagne 2 games at the UK next year
