At least if they were dead then there's a chance a bengal might trip up over their body. Benson gets over 100 yards rushing, Chad gets over 100 receiving and Palmer has 4 tds, great half of work bears D. **********Automerged Doublepost********** 31-3, bears cut lead to a mere 4tds.
If the bears still can't stop the bengals this half and don't win the second half then lovie's job will have become vastly less safe.
Go for it please. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Yeah I'm gonna go do something more productive like.........hell I dunno. Drink a lot. :icon_frown:
At least the Bear players have shown they've given up. Let LS try to used car salesman that away in his usual post game BS...
If there's any good to come out of this is the stupidity of JA & staff for their staggeringly clueless decisions from the OL/WRs down thru the inexperienced secondary. No amount of soft shoe post game BS will hide this especially with the players giving up. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Finally make 'em punt & we turn it into a 1st down. Stunning...
Grats to the bengals, they did what they had to do today, but that has to be about the most pitiful display I have ever been ashamed to witness from the bears and it is time for lovie to lose his job as the players had clearly given up today. One thing I did find rather stupid on the part of the bengals, why risk injury to your running back just so he could try to get 200 yards against a former team, surely the one-sidedness of the scoreline should have been enough.
Other than it contributed to today's loss, why should we care, we got rid of a player that wasn't performing for us, no different from any other moves teams make. He's the one who was so desperate to try and prove something that he was still out there risking injury when the game was already won.
??? Why would the Bears or the fans 'eat their hearts out'? Benson was gone cuz of his immaturity/off field drinking BS/ & ineffectiveness on the field, not due to a lack of talent. Like that he got his head/game together but doesn't make me wish he was still here. No guaranty he wouldn't still be a head case. Being out of football helped get him back on track.
