Good win. I still don't understand why we keep passing with the lead in the 4th quarter. Had the game been closer, it would've bite us in the end. Tony Romo has gone 3 games withoug throwing a pick. No penalties by the OL. Crayton had his second punt return for TD of the season. Even Barbie Carpenter making sacks. Seriously...who are these guys? :icon_eek:
Oh, don't give me that crap. A win against the Lions has the same value as a win against the Colts, or something. We're 5-2 and will play for the division lead at Philly next week. It's payback time, snitches.
I'm not giving you any crap, and a win is a win against any team. Congrats on the win, but beating the Seahawks isn't exactly bragging material...
I'm not bragging. In fact, I'm still ripping the play-calling. Garrett is going to end up killing us at some point. "Oh, we're up by 28 with 9 minutes to go...let's call a long pass"...sack, fumble, TD...that's what I'm talking about.
I didn't watch the game, so I don't really have a comment on that, but killing the clock is the name of the game when you are winning...
we did the same thing to the 4-1 falcons.. Crayton a PR td. Marcus Spears got a sack.. just back to back weeks with the people who never step up, stepping up.
Eagles cowboys hate week should be fun both teams 5-2 coming off huge wins even though ours was bigger.
Like who???? The general consensus is that Dallas is the third best team in the NFC East, or are we building up the underdog angle?
I was referencing the Giants and the Seahawks, BiTB mentioned our big win today was bigger then your big win. I just pointed out it was a slightly bigger win against what many believe is a much better team then the team you beat. Semantics really **********Automerged Doublepost********** NO WAY are the Cowturds the third best team.... they are the second worst :icon_cheesygrin:
I in fact think they are about on par. I would probably give the edge to the vagiants but NJ has not beat a single good team yet.
They are on a slide.......which is typical of them ever since Coughlin took over. They will hit these three or 4 game stretches every year. I think before it was because of faction from having douch's like Shockey, Barber and Plax on hand coupled with Eli inconsitance, now I think its just on Eli. They will get back to form eventually. I dont think they are a better team then Philly, but on an average day for both teams its a tight contest. Recent history would tell me Philly wins that more than not however
That's one way to look at it... another is that without Plaxico and without Brandon Jacobs playing for a contract Eli is powerless to beat any team that is above average. He used to be able to throw it up to a circus freak who was 2 feet taller then most DBs and hand it off to another circus freak who could drag entire offensive lines and fall down for a minimum gain of 6-7 yards. Without those two safety nets he is proving to be nothing more then mediocre. But wasn't this a Cowboy Seahawk thread?
Keep in mind that playing in New Orleans and playing in Philly is no easy task. Coming off 3 straight losses I can see the Giants winning 3 straight games.
It's possible... but unlikely... looking at their next three, I bet they lose next week to SD (Rivers revenge... I LOVE IT) then beat the Falcons after the bye to give their fans a little hope again only to get donkey punched the next week by Denver.
People are really quick to judge.... Ohhhh Dallas sucks they almost lost to the chiefs. Oh no wait Philly sucks they lost to Oakland. oh no wait it's the giants that really suck they just got hosed by philly and have lost 3 straight
I didnt get the game, but Its really good to see that Austin produced again, even if he didnt break 100. Ive been kinda afraid that after two big games he would go into a 2 catch for 17 yards a game type funk
