I'm proud of my team, I came into this season just wanting back to back winning seasons. Thsi team fought valiantly against the best team in the league and showed some moxy that I really began to question after last week's debacle. Matt will get better, I don't see him as someone who will remain shaken, he stepped up when he had to, but still looked like a young guy in certain situations.

Cut Michael Jenkins, he's been dropping passes since 2004, get better corners to complement Houston (Jackson can become a good #2 by the end of the season).

I usually work on Mondays but I remember that game, it was pretty good at the end.

Why didn't Ryan get the ball to TG more?

I think that's been his problem, he locks in on TG too much and he has to get out of that. Most of his INTs come from forcing throws into his safety nets instead of making the smart throw underneath and taking yards. For example, the tip pick, that window was limited, and in that situation you cannot afford to let the other team have it.

He also has to learn to get rid of the ball in certain situations, when you have no timeouts, down with 40 seconds to go, you cannot get sacked, get rid of it, throw it away.

He will learn, and I'm confident he'll shake bad days like this off. This team rallies around him, so he will have the support he needs to turn it around. Even in a slump, this team manages to stay in the ball game, and that's just grit and representative of their coach. I'm glad we got Mike Smith and I'm glad Arthur Blank didn't take the flashy route like he wanted to.

I thought Ryan would be a bust coming in to the NFL, but the Falcons are the perfect team for him.

I'm rooting for him because I was wrong, I hope he does well.

TG's got 2-3 years left to help out, hope Ryan can mature enough before he's gone.

Seems to me that Katrina brought a storm to the NFL franchise in NO.

They are full of thunder, lighting, and miracles.

What else should I have said?

    Very good game.

I expect more of this parity from the NFL.

Wow, what a game. Had me nervous at the end.

An important win for the Saints against a division rival. :blob7:
